This Coilhose 700 series blow gun repair kit can be used for improving blow gun performance when internal components have worn out. It includes metal moving parts and rubber seals for a complete blow gun refurbishment. This blow gun repair kit is suitable for use with Coilhose Pneumatics 700 series blow guns (sold separately).Blow guns, also called air blow guns or pneumatic blow guns, attach to air lines and are used to manually discharge air for non-contact cleaning or drying purposes in laboratory or industrial applications. Most blow guns are made of metal components, but they are also available in all plastic or a combination of metal and plastic. They typically consist of an ergonomic grip or handle, a trigger, and a nozzle through which compressed air is delivered. Many also come with extensions to increase the distance between the trigger mechanism and the nozzle. Different styles of blow gun components can be arranged in a variety of configurations to meet the exacting needs of a specific application. Specifications for blow guns include pressure capacity, measured in pounds per square inch (psi); air flow volume, measured in cubic foot per minute (CFM); thrust (the amount of force that exits the nozzle), measured in pound force (lbf); noise level, measured in decibels (dB); and air line connection type, which is typically National Pipe Thread Taper (NPT). Some blow guns meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standard 1910.95 for sound level and standard 1910.242B for maximum pressure with an obstructed or "dead-ended" nozzle.Coilhose Pneumatics manufactures air tool products and accessories such as hoses, tubing, fittings, lubricants, and blow guns. The company, founded in 1969, is headquartered in East Brunswick, NJ.
